Chairman & Managing Director & Director (Finance)

Mr. B.K. Mandal, Director (Finance), has taken over the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director with effect from 1st January 2013.  He is a B.Com(Hons) from Kolkata University, a post Graduate in Management from Indian Institute of  Management, Ahmedabad and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Shri Mandal has been a full time Board member with SCI from 11.11.2005.

Director (Liner & Passenger Services)

Mr. J. N. Das is Director (Liner & Passenger Services) since December 2007. He is a Marine Engineer from the Marine Engineering Training College (DMET), Kolkata and possesses a First Class Engineer (Motor) Certificate of Competency from MOT. He is a member of the Institute of Engineers (MIE India) and a fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineers (FIME) India.
 
He has vast experience in Shipping Management, Bulk Carriers, Tankers, Chemicals, LPG & LNG Operations, Newbuilding and Offshore Services.

Director(Technical & Offshore Services)

Arun Kumar Gupta is the Director of Technical & Offshore Services Division since October 25, 2010. He holds a bachelors degree in Marine Engineering from Marine Engineering Training College, Kolkata and possesses First Class Engineer (MOTOR) Certificate of Competency from Ministry of Transport. He is a Member of the Institute of Engineers, a Fellow Member of Institute of Marine Engineers & Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping. He has also served Irano-Hind Shipping Co., Tehran as Director Administration for a period over 3 years.
He has been a Trustee of Kandla Port and also the Vice President of Institute of Marine Engineers (India). He has been on the Governing Council of both, Institute of Marine Engineers as well as Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping. In context he has chaired sessions and also presented papers in several technical meets. He has almost 34 years experience in all aspects of shipping management. 

Director (Bulk Carriers and Tankers)

Capt. Sunil Thapar has been appointed as Director of Bulk Carriers and Tankers on 11th January 2011.  He is a holder of Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency issued by Ministry of Shipping and MSc (Shipping Management) from the World Maritime University, Malmo Sweden.  He is a life member of the Company of Master Mariners of India.
Capt. Thapar has vast experience in Shipping Management, Business Development, Chartering, Liner and Container Shipping, Bulk Carriers, Tankers and Off Shore Services.
