SCI has formed a consortium with M/s Mediterranean Shipping Company w.e.f. 17.05.2009. The ‘SCI-MSC’ consortium operates a weekly service with seven vessels of about 4500 TEU nominal capacity.
The ISE service connects Mundra to Felixstowe in the shortest transit time of 15 days and the round voyage is of 49 days.
The allocation for each partner is on a 50:50 basis of the total space available for this service, which works out to a maximum of 1750 TEUs per vessel.
Port Rotation for the ISE Service is:
Colombo-->JNP-->Mundra-->Salalah-->Felixstowe-->Hamburg-->Antwerp-->Jeddah-->Colombo
Berthing windows as per schedule. JNP is every Thursday.
