SCI intends to in-charter 1 no. OSV/AHTSV for intended deployment at around Chennai Port, India, for a period of about 20 days.

B. Vessel shall confirm/comply to (*) –
o SOLAS convention
o MARPOL convention
o Suitable for all weather operation
o The vessel must have valid H&M and P&I insurances in place
o The vessel must comply with DGS latest requirement and relevant requirement of Indian Custom Authorities
o The vessel should be fitted with necessary Radio & Navigational equipment, LSA and FFA in compliance with applicable statutory (FLAG) and classification society’s requirement.

NB: Offered vessel would be inspected/surveyed by the SCI’s partner. Vessel may be considered subject to the acceptance of SCI’s partner. Since the requirement is immediate, vessel available at ECI, around Chennai, would be preferred.

ANY OFFERED VESSEL OWNER (REGD. / DISPONENT / COMMERCIAL / TECHNICAL / FREIGHT BENEFICIARY) FROM A COUNTRY WHICH SHARES A LAND BORDER WITH INDIA WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO BID IN THIS ENQUIRY ONLY IF IT CONFIRMS ITS ACCEPTANCE AND ALSO COMPLIES WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE “GUIDELINES FOR ELIGIBILITY OF A ‘BIDDER’ FROM A COUNTRY WHICH SHARES A LAND BORDER WITH INDIA” ENCLOSED WITH THIS ENQUIRY. THE BIDDER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THE UNDERTAKING ENCLOSED THEREIN – SUNIL MADDILA.

BROKERS MAY PLEASE NOTE:
1. ALL CLAUSES ENTERED IN C/P STRICTLY AS PER NEGOS AND CONFIRMED IN FORWARDING LETTER WITH WORKING ORIGINAL C/P’s.
2. AVAILABILITY OF SISTER / SUBSTITUTE VESSELS CAN BE CHECKED WITH THE NEGOTIATING OFFICER.
3. ALL BROKERS & OTHERS ARE REQUIRED TO QUOTE ORDERS ON DIRECT EMAIL IDS OF DEALING OFFICERS. HOWEVER, MESSAGES MUST BE COPIED TO SCI, CHARTERING COMMON EMAIL ID: scichartering@sci.co.in
